Growing up with a mom who was a family therapist and reiki healer, and a dad who was a jazz musician, opened Emma Cairo up in a natural way to spirituality and music. This early training was helpful when Emma’s father passed, and she took a break from singing in nightclubs to do some soul searching in Sedona. When the message came during deep journey that she was to use singing as a magical tool for healing, she trusted it and followed.
Now Emma offers clients Nordic Music Magic sessions, bringing forward pre-Christian wisdom from her Scandinavian ancestors who practiced Seiðr and Galdr which is Nordic shamanism. As a vølve (a Nordic sorceress) and a certified reiki healer, Emma is reactivating ancestral spiritual practice for today’s modern world.

Emma is an intuitive & professional singer, a vølve (a Nordic sorceress) & a certified reiki healer. She is inspired by her roots; the spiritual traditions of the North; (Ciide) Seiðr & Galdr (Galder) – what we today call Nordic shamanism. Emma grew up in Denmark, raised by a Norwegian mother who worked as a therapist and who practiced reiki. Emma’s father was a jazz musician, and Emma gained an interest for both music and spiritual teachings early in life. After moving to L.A. in 2007, Emma started singing professionally in bands in China & Egypt, as well as Las Vegas. When back in L.A. she felt called to work with energy, and she became a reiki healer. During a shamanic journey workshop in Sedona, Emma realized she had to use her voice and music for healing and magic. She developed her Nordic Music Magic sessions, realizing that this is what her ancestors used to do when they practiced Seiðr in Scandinavia’s pre-Christian era.
