An author, award-winning university professor, and former abortion clinic nurse, Patrice D’Amato RN can tell the touching stories of patients paths’ to abortion that happen each and every day (from a headstrong teen to a heartbroken, miscarrying mom), why abortion is necessary reproductive healthcare from both a medical and sociocultural perspective, and common myths (and truths) about the long-term effects of abortion on women’s health.
